Background Information: Amazing Concealer is considered a cult classic amongst beauty junkies. This product is described by Amazing Cosmetics as a multi-purpose, highly pigmented, waterproof concealer that magically erases everything from dark circles to sun damage and looks undetectable on the skin.
Let me just go ahead and put this out there: this product is like, holy grail material for me. It's literally, amazing (no pun intended). I'm not someone who struggles with acne or acne scarring, but I do have really, really terrible under-eye circles. They're not due to lack of sleep because I've always had them; my best guess is that it's a result of my complexion being fair and the discoloration showing through more than it might in someone with a darker skin tone.
Needless to say, I've tried tons of concealer over the years with not much luck. The best solution I'd come up with was to used a full coverage foundation (Estee Lauder Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup for Face and Body) under my eyes. All of that changed a few months back. My mom gave me a sample she received in a magazine of the Amazing Concealer. Even though the sample shade was way too dark for me, I immediately knew this was a product I had to have.
It's definitely pricey at $28 for the smaller size (which I bought) and $42 for the standard size (0.5 oz). Concealer isn't a very fun beauty item to drop money on but for me, this product is a necessity. It really brightens up my face and has allowed me to ditch the full coverage foundation. On the up side, because this concealer is so highly pigmented the tiniest amount goes a long way so I know it will last me quite a long time. Knowing how much use I'll get out of it makes the price a little more bearable.
Amazing Concealer comes in ten shades: Ivory, Fair, Light Golden, Tan, Tan Golden, Medium Beige, Medium Golden, Tan, Tan Golden, Dark Tan, Deep Golden, and Deep. I purchased Light Golden which is a bit odd because, like I mentioned, I have very fair skin and am almost always the lightest shade in every line.
